answers1: Since the Chinese government controlled visual arts and
literature alot of things were removed from China illegally and still
havent be found today. This stuff is really important to discovering
facts about early civilization since China was the Earliest
civilization to exist.
answers2: I recently watched a program on antiques which was talking
about the famous blue and white porcelain. The expert mentioned that
the Chinese emporers dictated to the artisans about the designs that
they painted on the various pieces and the pieces would have the
emporer's personal symbol of a dragon etc. He then went on to comment
that later in Chinese history there is evidence that the artists
started to use their own designs without conforming to the emporer's
wishes.
