great, I really enjoyed 'Aztec' by Gary Jennings. Also his 'Raptor' is
good, but his stories are a little bizarre and a little
intense.Wonderfully researched and written though.'The Mists of
Avalon' by Marian Zimmer Bradley is intriguing and memorable. 'Green
Darkness' by Anya Seton. 'London' by Edward Rutherfurd, 'The Pillars
of the Earth' by Ken Follett, are all favorites, and I couldn't put

answers23:The Best Books I've Ever Read: #1: "The Oath" by Frank
Peretti (SCIENCE FICTION)Frank Peretti has this awesome novel called
"The Oath" which scared the living daylights out of me. It's a big
thick book and took me a week to read. I was so scared all week I
couldn't sleep just hid under the covers! Lol! One of my alltime
favorites. He also wrote a book called "Monster" that was pretty good,
but I'd have to say "The Oath still beats it for best book I've ever
read. #2: "Mark Of The Lion" triology by Francine Rivers (HISTORICAL
FICTION) I read a triology by Francine Rivers called The Mark Of The
Lion series. I cried with the characters and for them, I was moved so
much. The stories are touching and beautifully written. The history in
the books sticks with you because when you read an unfamiliar
historical term in the story you can look up the definition in the
backs of the books. The first book is about a girl captured in the
fall of Jerusalem and made a slave in a wealthy household in Rome,
where she falls in love with one of her captors. The second is a
continuation of the stories of some of the characters from the first
book. The third book is about a gladiator who was briefly introduced
in the first book. #3: "The Tombs Of Anak" by Frank Peretti (YOUNG
ADULT SCIENCE FICTION) The very coolest young adult fiction I've ever
read is a series by Frank Peretti. I think the series is called "The
Cooper Kids Adventures" and the best book in the series was called
"The Tombs of Anak." They're about 2 kids Jay and Lila and their dad
who is an archaeologist. It's Indiana Jones/ sci-fi type stuff and I
had to read the WHOLE book in one sitting because I couldn't sleep
without knowing the ending!!! Some of the books are pretty scary
too....Show more
