Danyell Rowback: The best conservation technique is to control the native vegetation and water systems to provide an optimum environment for a maximum variety of species which interact to create a stable ecosystem. Controlling individual species is disastrous as it is usually overdone without full knowledge of the species ecological niche. Traditional conservation management techniques are always shortsighted and directed to one or two species - and they usually depend on continual input of money and manpower which are subject to political correctness. It is essential to remove human beings from the ecosystem since their effect is invariably disruptive, however well meaning.
