financial aid!!plzzz help meeeee?

Ninfa Aronica: contact them, some private schools have a payment plan for those who can not fully afford it =]

Oda Mauson: I think the private school is a great idea. How to pay for it is another matter. Will they take payments? Check with the school, maybe they have some funding sources. Go to the school office and tell them you want badly to attend, but money is the only obstacle. They just might have some ideas. Maybe they let students work part time in their facility.

Delmer Pectol: Wow, it's kind of late for you to be thinking about how to pay for it, isn't it? At this point you'll probably only get student loans, but you'll have to take those out anyway, so don't worry too much about it.You'll need to fill out the FAFSA -you can submit it electronically from this website: www.fafsa.ed.govThen contact the financial aid office at your college to make sure they don't need anything else from you (some schools have their own financial aid forms they wa! nt filled out). Eventually, you'll get an award letter from your school telling you how much aid you're eligible for and whether you'll get grants, loans or (most likely) a combination of both.Next year, make sure to turn your FAFSA in as early as possible (February, after your taxes are done) and start looking for scholarships if you don't want to take out so much in loans.Good luck!...Show more

Otto Lingafelt: srry going to coll aug 27

Emery Blando: ease do not go thru a private internet lender wanting $ up front for any loan type.If they are asking for $ up front -it's a SCAM.Stay away from private internet lenders wanting $ up front.Report these hoodlums to the IC3 division of FBI and to your states Atty. Generals office.Be Aware of these internet scams wanting $ up front. You will not see your loan or money again if you fall prey to these hoodlums.

Kris Bozelle: it doesn't really matter, I would make sure i'm accepted at the college then fill out the ! fasfa, and then if you are eligible for aid, the college will ! go over it with you, because the fafsa asks what college your going to and is it part or full time, of course you can still answer that without being accepted, by putting where your planning on going, but whichever

Lu Tiner: If you are getting a full scholarship you are not eligible to receive financial aid (grants/loans) as that's considered "double-dipping."

Lavelle Viveiros: Im goin to a 2 year college next year and i have a received full tuition. Can i use the probable 5000 pell grant for my living expenses and compouter and other stuff? also will i receive the grant even after getting my tuition fully paid?

Zelma Casebier: Get as many scholarships as you can, and start saving up money now. If you don't have money to save, then get a job and start saving.

Emile Midgley: There is this amazing private school where i live and it's really expensive!my mom said the only reason i couldnt go was because of money i know there really is no answer but ca! n u give me the tiniest bit of advice?

Raleigh Lufkin: I have been thinking about getting my master's degree, and was wondering if I can apply for fafsa first since that will play major role in me going back to school. Or do I need to apply for a graduate program and then apply for fafsa?

Coralie Goldsberry: Yes you can! When your school receivies the grant on your behalf, they will apply it to your remaining need outside of your current scholarship. It will go towards the total cost of college that includes all the expenses that they believe a reasonable student would need. That may or may not include a computer, but the room and board will definately be included in that.

Devon Kalberer: You have waited so long it is doubtful you will be able to get anything by Aug. 27, except maybe a bank loan. You should have started applying in January at the latest, preferably a lot earlier than that. All you can do now is contact the financial aid office at your co! llege and see if they can help you.

Luke Kosch: Yes you can still! receive financial aid if you qualify. Filling out your FAFSA will tell you if you qualify. They will send the results to the school and send the money to the school. Your school will then disburse the money to you after taking the money out for your books, unless your full tuition covers your books as well. You still will have to wait for the school to give you your money. The $5000 pell grant is for two semesters not just one. For example I got a grant for $5,550 but will only get $2,775 this semester and the rest next semester. Good luck with all that......Show more

Herma Ellebrecht: You should have applied a while back. Some schools have deadlines. I believe the state does as well. For next school year try applying as soon as possible. YOu can fill out a FAFSA (financial aid through the state) or try scholarships. Speak with your college's financial aid office to see what options you may have that they offer. Good luck.

Elfreda Grossen: you can apply at fafs! a.gov it goes on your income if your over 23 and on your parents income if your under 23. I would fill it out today you need your parents tax information. It might not come in on time for classes but the schools might work with you to defer payment. I did my financial aid in april. My sister did hers in may and didnt get it back till last week. Call your school too they will help.
